The main objective of ALECOSA for the period 2004-2009 is to promote a series of policies in which the growth and the productivity are ecologically sustainable.
In order to carry out this environmental strategy a series of investments will be made in order to make profitable all those economic implications that can be carried out from the sustainability.
ALECOSA has been developing for many years some programs of Research and Development for the creation of new products and processes. This experience and enthusiasm for the technological improvement has permitted to it to apply from 1999 some measures for the decrease of the generation of waste as well as an optimization of the resources to improve the productive processes.
The continuous search for the ecoefficiency has led us to the complete optimization of some technologies and to the development of new ones. Thus, the continuous annealing for binary alloys of copper and zinc has been totally optimized thanks to different programs of research of ALECOSA; and the enthusiasm for giving solutions to new products maintaining the productive efficacy, taking the ecoefficiency into account, has led us to introduce other technologies as the induction annealing.
The new industrial plant inaugurated at the end of the year 2005 is the culmination of many years of research, but it is also the culmination of a future challenge:
TO PRODUCE IN AN EFFICIENT WAY BOTH AT AN ECONOMIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL LEVEL.
